Description
The purpose of this position is to ensure that commercial and residential construction projects comply with plans, accepted practices and City codes. This is accomplished by enforcing building codes and standards, completing inspections on construction projects, providing information and assistance to contractors, builders and citizens, reviewing plans, determining that plans are in compliance with current codes and ordinances, maintaining accurate records and interacting with other City employees and citizens. This position does not provide direction to other employees.
