Annual Pay Range: $69,576.75 - $93,928.99 Hourly Pay Range: $33.450360 - $45.158168 Starting salaries will be within the posted pay range based on job-related factors such as experience, training and/or education.

JOB INTRODUCTION
Clackamas County Social Services Division is looking for a dynamic and compassionate person to join the Developmental Disabilities team, as a Supervisor to co-lead the Children's Team, within the Developmental Disabilities Program. The Human Services Supervisor is responsible for the coordination and supervision of the Children's Team staff and resources for community service to individuals with a developmental or intellectual disability. Positions at this level work within established policies and guidelines to develop daily operating procedures, work plans and schedules. We are looking for an individual with experience in Social Services, as well as specific working experience with individuals with developmental or intellectual disabilities. The most successful candidates will have strong case management experience in Developmental Disability Services, knowledge of state and federal regulations and requirements, specifically knowledge of Oregon’s K-State Plan, HCBS Waiver, In-Home Services, and Employment First. The candidate in this position must meet the requirements outlined in the Oregon Administrative Rule (OAR) as it pertains to Community Developmental Disability Program Supervisors. Required Minimum Qualifications/ Transferrable Skills:*
A) A bachelor's degree or equivalent course work in a field related to management such as business or public administration, or a field related to developmental disabilities services may be substituted for up to three years required experience; OR B) Five years of experience in staff supervision or five years of experience in technical or professional level staff work related to developmental disabilities services

(1) A CDDP providing developmental disabilities services under a contract with the Department is required to meet the basic management, programmatic, and health, safety, and human rights regulations in the management of the community service system for individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities. (5) QUALIFIED STAFF. Each CDDP must provide a qualified CDDP manager, services coordinator, eligibility specialist, and abuse investigator specialist for adults with intellectual or developmental disabilities, or have an agreement with another CDDP to provide a qualified eligibility specialist and abuse investigator specialist for adults with intellectual or developmental disabilities. (b) CDDP SUPERVISOR. The CDDP supervisor (when designated) must have knowledge of the public service system for developmental disabilities services in Oregon and at least: (A) A bachelor's degree or equivalent course work in a field related to management such as business or public administration, or a field related to developmental disabilities services may be substituted for up to three years required experience; or (B) Five years of experience in staff supervision or five years of experience in technical or professional level staff work related to developmental disabilities services.
RESPONSIBILITIES
QUALIFICATIONS
Working Knowledge of: principles, methods, trends, practices, and techniques in delivering case management services to people experiencing developmental disabilities; principles and practices of public administration including organization design, budget/grant administration and supervision; needs of individuals with limited economic and social resources; supervisory principles and techniques; community resources; case management methods and techniques; office equipment, including personal computers and software program; applicable federal, state, and local laws, rules, ordinances, statutes, and regulations. Specific knowledge of OARs related to the delivery of developmental disability services in Oregon. Skill in: planning, managing, and coordinating a human services program; establishing and maintaining cooperative working relationships with the community, private and government agencies, County employees, and the public; effectively developing and utilizing available staff, program and community resources; interpreting policies and developing corresponding procedures; incorporating team participation in decision making; preparing and delivering oral presentations before public groups.
WORK SCHEDULE
This position is included in the County’s alternate workweek program, working 40 hours during a standard workweek of Monday through Thursday (Fridays off). Specific hours of work will be discussed with the candidate selected for this position at the time an offer of employment is extended.
