Description	The City of Mount Pleasant, Texas is seeking a Public Works Director/City Engineer. Located in Northeast Texas, along Interstate 30, Mount Pleasant is an easy drive to Dallas-Fort Worth, Shreveport, and Little Rock. With a population of 16,921 residents, Mount Pleasant is a thriving Micropolitan community and is the county seat and largest city in Titus County. The City of Mount Pleasant Public Works Department encompasses engineering, street maintenance, fleet services, facility maintenance, street signs, floodplain management, and capital projects. As a key member of the City’s leadership team, the Public Works Director/City Engineer will serve as the principle advisor to the City on public works programs, capital projects, and engineering issues. Bachelor’s degree, Professional Engineer license, and 10 years of experience is required. The salary range is $75k - $125k, DOQ.
