Salary:  $39,507 Annually

ATTENDANCE REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION ARE AS FOLLOWS: Non-rotating 40-hour work week, Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. Must be available to work additional hours as needed.

Responsibilities 

The Parking Control Operations Manager oversees all aspects of Parking Control including the day to day operations, revenue and budgeting.

  • Supervise Parking Enforcement Lead and overall parking enforcement operations.
  • Administrative duties to include preparing monthly reports, purchasing supplies/equipment, disciplinary issues and hiring.
  • Respond to and work with citizens to resolve complaints and concerns through communication, knowledge, education and enforcement regarding parking.
  • Manage electronic ticket data and software systems that track citation issuance.
  • Manage ADA enforcement and report monthly to the Committee for persons with disabilities.
  • Design and implement meter maintenance procedures for maximum cost effectiveness.
  • Track revenue deposits prepare financial data and establish systems to maximize and minimize loss.
  • Research street parking needs and zoning.
  • Research and recommend new ordinances to meet parking needs/concerns.
  • May be asked to perform other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications 

  • Requires a Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in regulatory enforcement or related field with at least one (1) year supervisory experience
  • A combination of education and pertinent experience may be considered
  • A valid driver's license is required. Successful out of state candidates must be able to obtain a valid Texas driver's license within 90 days of hire

Basis of Rating 

Application review and the City may also conduct additional skill assessment tests, in addition to the panel interview.
