The purpose of this position is to provide care for animals that enter the shelter and to provide customer service to citizens with their Animal Service’s needs. This is accomplished by feeding, watering, vaccinating, medicating and micro-chipping animals, cleaning and disinfecting animal cages and maintaining all areas of the shelter to ensure a safe and disease free environment.  Other duties include monitoring the front, assisting visitors with adoptions and reclamation’s and interacting with other City employees and citizens.  This position does not provide direction to other employees.
