Description | Job Summary This is an entry-level position in City Management in a full-service City. The new Assistant to the City Manager will provide analytical support to all departments on a variety of issues, assist and/or manage assigned projects, assist in the preparation of the annual budget, oversee the implementation of the citywide communication plan, prepare department reports, and /or perform other specialized activities. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
Minimum Education, Experience and Certification Bachelor’s degree in public administration or business administration or equivalent and two years of progressively responsible analytical experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above. Master’s degree preferred.
