POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Under general direction, the IT Training Specialist is responsible for the development and delivery of a multi-faceted ERP training program.
 

  • Develops, deploy, and maintain ERP content in Oracle's UPK.
  • Delivers multi-faceted training delivery methodologies to achieve learning to all participants with varying degrees of working knowledge of PeopleSoft modules, Tririga, and Fleetwave.
  • Maintains, promote, and communicate training schedules and program offerings.
  • Continually assess the effectiveness of the end-user training curriculum & delivery.
  • Maintains and continually increases knowledge of financial business processes and general financial practice requirements, including; applications, technology, policies, procedures to anticipate and define application training design needs.
  • Consults with subject matter experts to identify specific training needs.
  • Provides annual and periodic reporting on training and development accomplishments.
  • Assists with other duties as assigned or as directed.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Education, Instructional Design, HR/PR or a related field OR  three (3) years of Instructional Design experience.
  • Experience developing, delivering, and maintaining ERP content via UPK.
  • Experience developing, deploying, and maintaining content in Oracle's UPK.
  • Must be able to travel to multiple locations.


Additional Requirements:

  • Ability to successfully manage training environments to enable delivery of ERP applications related training.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and meet deadlines while maintaining attention to detail, quality of work, and customer service.
  • Strong consultation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and within a team environment and with subject matter experts.
  • Strong computer skills with experience in MS office suite.
  • Must be detail-oriented with above-average planning, coordination, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate will all levels of end-users.
  • Exceptional classroom management and engaging facilitation skills; appealing to a wide variety of audiences.


Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to lift at least 20 lbs. and/or move boxes and equipment as needed.
  • Subject to kneeling, crouching, handling, climbing, walking, sitting, twisting and reaching are needed to perform the essential functions.

PREFERENCES:
  • One (1) years' of experience with PeopleSoft.
  • Program coordination or project management experience that demonstrates an ability to define outcomes and meet objectives.
  • Experience with on-line meeting, webinar or virtual classroom tools as well as learning management solutions.
