What you will do at Precinct One
The successful candidate will maintain trees within park sites, along roads & bridges, right-of-ways, and along hike & bike trails within Precinct One. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Fell trees using chainsaws and other equipment
• Prune and cut trees
• Safely operate equipment such as chainsaws, pole pruner saws, stump grinders
• Safely operate vehicles such as pick-up trucks and aerial lift bucket trucks

What you will bring to Precinct One

• High School diploma or  G.E.D. equivalent; and 
• Three (3) years of experience in tree maintenance/tree cutting techniques/chainsaw operation
• Valid Texas State Driver's License
• Commercial Driver's license must be obtained within given time frame

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Knowledge in operations of forestry equipment
• Ability to operate chainsaws, stump grinders, pole pruner saws, and motor vehicles such as pick-up trucks and aerial lift bucket trucks
