Incumbent fights fires, provides emergency medical services, & response to other emergency incidents to save lives & property. Performs related prevention, education, & support activities.  Must possess H.S. diploma or equivalent, valid Oklahoma driver license & be insurable. Must meet medical req. set forth by the OK FF Pension & Retirement System. Must pass written & practical exam.  EMT-B National Registry is required w/preferred skills which include FFI, FF2, Hazmat Awareness, Hazmat Ops, Intro to Technical Rescue, Vehicle Extrication, current CPR card, LPG Emergency Operations, WMD Awareness, Intro to Computers, & NIMS (IMS).  Starting salary:  $43,384/yr.  Apply at City of Midwest City, HR Dept., 100 N.
