Description | Household Hazardous Waste Attendant Summary: Under general supervision, monitors and assists the public with the disposal of household hazardous waste material and recycle items at the HHW facility. Ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and standard procedures. Monitors the disposal of the bulk and tree limbs at the facility drop off points. Minimum Qualifications: Education, Training and Experience Guidelines: High School Diploma or GED required. One year of work related experience dealing with heavy public contact. The ideal candidate will have experience in displaying courtesy, tach and diplomacy. Knowledge of:

License and certification requirements: A valid Texas State Driver's License is required. Physical demands and working environment: Work is performed indoors, outdoors and at City facilities; requires constant physical efforts, and the ability to bend, reach, stoop, and lift objects; may be exposed to safety hazards and dangerous tools and equipment; safety precautions must be followed, including use of safety equipment. City approved safety shoes must be worn.
