The Maintenance Custodian performs custodial work and maintenance services to City-owned buildings and facilities.

• Performs light custodial work and maintenance services to City-owned building and facilities
• Establishes and maintains a schedule of routine janitorial and cleaning of facilities to including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting of furniture and woodwork and equipment
• Collects and disposes of office trash and recycling
• Cleaning of windows walls and ceilings
• Moving furniture or equipment for city operations and special events;
• Provides maintenance and minor repair to plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and routine carpentry
• Performs repairs and maintenance of buildings drywalls, painting, floor and ceiling tiles and replacement of light bulbs
• Cleans and sanitizes restrooms
• Must have excellent job attendance and punctuality

Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent, and at least one year of experience in facilities management and janitorial maintenance
 
Required Licenses or Certifications:
Valid Texas Driver's License required

Work hours may necessitate the need to work after normal working hours or weekends
