Performs senior level, professional development review work to produce reports on land development cases, such as Land Use Plan Map amendments, rezonings, Code amendments, conditional uses, variances, etc. Conducts reviews of site plans, permits and current development projects. Guides technical and clerical staff in the preparation of presentation materials.  Continuously monitors the Land Development Code for currency and relevance.  Represents the City and/or makes presentations at meetings.

Requires a Bachelor degree or equivalent in Urban Planning, Public Administration, Architecture, Engineering, or related field.  Requires a valid Florida driver license.   Requires a minimum of three (3) years progressively responsible experience in planning, zoning, and land use. Requires flexible hours for attendance at City meetings and events. AICP and CFM preferred.
