Description | SUMMARYEnforces laws related to the protection of life and property directs and controls traffic, prevents crime or disturbance of peace, and arrests violators by performing the following duties. **This position is safety-sensitive and is subject to random drug and alcohol testing. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES To perform this position successfully, an individual(s) must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Skills Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND TRAINING (Certification/Licensure) The preferred way to obtain the minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential duties and responsibilities of this position are listed below.
