This is a SEASONAL position that will run from November through February 2020.

The Gym Supervisor is responsible for running the youth basketball league while at the gym locations. Essential duties include; provide general supervision for the youth basketball league; provide standard services that contribute to the efficient operation of the league; and work with the basketball crew to effectively set up and run the leagues. This is a temporary, part time position.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Provides customer service, direct leadership, and general supervision of the youth basketball program.
• Open/close and supervise gym facilities.
• Runs the score board and/or keeps the paper records for all youth basketball games.
• Responsible for enforcing gym, league, and program rules.
• Set up and break down of equipment on game days.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• 6 months experience with athletic leagues.
• General knowledge of basketball and the Texas Amateur Athletic Federation rules.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Occasional early, late, and weekend hours to attend weekly practices and weekend games.

Standing for extended periods of time.

The ability to lift, move, or carry various heavy objects such as basketball goals and equipment.

Interviews will be conducted in October with a start date of November.
