Description | Special Operations Clerk Summary: Under basic supervision, prepares Odessa Police Department (OPD) special operations case reports, performs research, maintains case files, and enters data into secure computer databases. Minimum Qualifications: Education, Training and Experience Guidelines: High School Diploma or GED required, AND one year of computer experience required. Background investigation and polygraph is required. Knowlege of:

License and certification requirements: A valid Texas State Driver's License is required. Certification for access to Texas Law Enforcement Telecommunications System (TLETS) from Texas Department of Public Safety may be required. Physical demands and working environment: Work is performed in a standard office environment. Skills test: Typing test with 30wpm with 2 or less errors. NOTE: It is the applicant's responsibility to complete and pass the typing test before the closing date.
