The City of Liberal in Liberal, KS is looking for a Accounting Supervisor to join our team! This position is responsible for the supervision of day to day operations of the City accounting systems and fiscal records within the Finance Department, including accounts payable, payroll, accounts receivable, cash and investment management, financial reporting, and asset inventory, as directed by the Finance Director. The Accounting Supervisor accumulates financial data and verifies it for accuracy in preparation for all City accounting processes.

Qualifications:

1. Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a bachelor degree in  Accounting, Finance or related field.
2. Four (4) years or more years of progressively responsible related experience.
3. Or any equivalent combination of education, experience, and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Salary starting at $70,000 or DOQ.
