$12.43/hr.; M-F, 7am-3:30pm, overtime & on-call as needed

Utilize physical labor to assist in water and wastewater line repairs and replacement, excavation, meter installation and taps. Will operate light and heavy equipment associated with the maintenance and construction of water and wastewater main projects. Employee works rotating shifts and is on call for assigned periods. A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Must have a valid Class “C” driver’s license and obtain a CDL within 12 months of employment. Applicant will attend school and seminars to obtain certification from TCEQ within 12 months of employment; must also be familiar with confined space entry techniques and procedures.  State certification – D/Unit I required within one year; C/Unit II is preferred.
