This position is responsible for managing the Design of minor and intermediate Water, Wastewater and Reuse CIP (Capital Improvement Program) projects and may assist on major projects. The work and technical functions are under the assistance and support of the Utility Design Manager (DM) and other Level III and IV Project Managers (PM).  Manages single or multiple projects with similar size and scope parameters and budgets. Responsibilities may also include assisting in construction management of utility projects. Comprehensive experience in design, contract administration, project management, and supervision of utility projects. Sound judgment and decision making. 

Note:    Responsibility/Level of Position will be determined based on qualifications / competencies of selected candidate.

Minimum Qualifications: 

Tier I:   A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Engineering, Project Management, or related field - OR - Four (4) years of related project management experience.  A valid Driver’s License is required.

Tier II:   A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Engineering, Project Management, or related field and three (3) years experience in project management or capital improvement project (CIP) management -OR- A Master’s Degree in Engineering or Project Management and two (2) years of related experience -OR- Seven (7) years of related project management experience.  A valid Driver’s License is required.

Tier III: A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Engineering, Project Management, or related field and five (5) years experience in project management or capital improvement project (CIP) management -OR- A Master’s Degree in Engineering or Project Management, and four (4) years of related experience -OR- Nine (9) years of related project management experience.  A valid Driver’s License is required.

Preferred Qualifications: Professional Engineer licensed in the State of Florida and a Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is preferred.
