Description | Clark County is the most populous of Nevada’s 17 counties, with 75.3% of the state’s population residing in the County, and it is the 13th largest county by population in the country. Unincorporated Clark County is home to the world-famous Las Vegas Strip. The County provides extensive regional services to nearly 2.3 million citizens and more than 45.3 million visitors each year. The Information Technology Department (IT) provides core technology services that support the business needs of County departments. Under the supervision of the Chief Administrative Officer, the Chief Information Officer (CIO) plans, organizes, and administers a comprehensive information systems program, ensuring that the most current and cost-effective information technology is available for use on a County-wide basis. The CIO manages all activities throughout the County related to a comprehensive system of information technology, including cyber security, communications and hardware, and software systems development, and subscriptions. The selected candidate must hold a bachelor's degree in computer science, business or public administration, or a related field and have seven (7) years of senior-level management experience in information systems development and operations, with at least five (5) years of experience working with executive and board-level personnel. The salary range for this position is $118,393.60 - $183,539.20, depending on experience and qualifications.
