The Sports Facility & Field Supervisor is responsible for the direct supervision of the Athletic Facilities including supervision of activities within the facilities and enforcing the rules, regulations and policies of the Christiansburg Department of Parks and Recreation and the Town of Christiansburg. The Field Supervisor works directly with the Supervisor of Outside Sports Facilities and Parks, the Assistant Director and Director of Parks and Recreation. High School Diploma or GED equivalent; supplemented by knowledge of community recreation and sports programs; public relations experience preferred; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job. Valid Virginia driver’s license with the ability to meet/maintain Town insurability requirements and a minimum of two (2) years driving experience.
