The Recreation Assistant performs customer service functions, assists staff and department management with routine clerical/administrative tasks and assists with the coordination of facility use and maintenance of recreational facilities. Two (2) years of experience in recreation programs or facilities management or closely related field; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job. Valid, Virginia’s driver’s license with the ability to meet/maintain Town insurability requirements. May be required to obtain/maintain certification of Notary Public. Must possess CPR, First Aid and AED certifications.
