Description

Under general direction, supervises and performs skilled and semi-skilled building construction and maintenance functions relating to the renovation, upkeep and operation of City buildings and facilities, coordinates the work of outside contractors, and administers maintenance contracts.

 High school diploma or GED; four years of building maintenance experience, including one year of lead work or supervisory experience; previous experience in routine plumbing, HVAC, and/or electrical repairs or preventive maintenance;  Colorado driver’s license and insurable under the City’s policy; knowledge of the principles and practices of building maintenance and safety procedures; knowledge of the principles and practices of project development and evaluation; general knowledge of applicable federal, state and local building codes; skill in the use of standard materials and equipment used in building maintenance including hand tools and light to heavy power tools; and ability to use personal computer and job-related computer applications including electronic mail.  Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.  $56,400-$70,500, DOQ  To apply or for more information, please visit www.evanscolorado.gov/hr/jobs.
