Accounting Technician

Fulltime regular, non-exempt position that performs complex clerical accounting duties involved with maintaining specialized and complex fiscal records; establishes, maintains and reviews accounting records, claims, accounts payable and/or receivable; may assist in the preparation, analysis, and review of budgets, financial accounts, documents, ledgers, transactions, and special funds and other related financial transactions. Equivalent of a High School diploma PLUS three (3) years of computer bookkeeping and/or accounting experience working in support of related functions, duties, and responsibilities is required.
