The City of Lubbock is seeking a visionary and passionate Information Technology Director to provide strategic leadership and innovation for the organization’s information technology policies, programming, and infrastructure.  The ideal candidate will be a forward-thinking technology professional with exceptional customer service skills who will help the City navigate the rapidly changing technology landscape to ensure the smooth delivery of services within the organization and the community.

The selected candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in computer science, management information systems, or a related field, with an additional five years of increasingly responsible experience in the planning and operation of management information systems. Any combination of education and experience which provides the required knowledge and skills will be considered.
