Description	Under general supervision, this position produces and develops high quality visual media to communicate, document, educate, inform, and enhance public relations for City of Broken Arrow departments, services and programs. This position is responsible for all creative and technical aspects of producing original video and web content including social media, still photography, and recorded or live video productions. Essential Job Functions: •Develops video content by operating field and studio equipment. •Writes scripts, conducts interviews and creates packages for City news programs, with input from the Communications Team members and other City employees. •Edits the segment for length, clarity and creative presentation, including the creation of graphical elements used in the final product. •Ensures the segment is available in formats to run on TV24, the City's government access channel, in accordance with the weekly schedule and also to be disseminated via YouTube and other City-approved social media venues. •Manages programming and scheduling of content for TV24. •Coordinates remote video productions of public meetings, including scouting for locations, logistics and other pre-production needs. •Photographs various City events and assets and publish to social media sites. •Maintains an archive of videos, B-roll and photographs. •Updates and maintains videos on the City's website and various social media platforms. •Collaborates with the City's Information Technology Department regarding the evaluation, purchase, and maintenance of any/all equipment required for City of Broken Arrow TV operations. •Performs other duties as required or assigned. Minimum Education and Experience: Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism, Broadcasting, Multimedia, Cinematography, or related field, supplemented by one to three years of similar experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Possession or the ability to readily obtain a valid driver's license issued by the State of Oklahoma for the type of vehicle or equipment operated.
