Description	This position is responsible for performing park maintenance duties. Essential Job Functions: •Participates in turf maintenance activities, including seeding, sodding, fertilizing, aerating, irrigating, and applying herbicides and pesticides •Participates in the installation and maintenance of the irrigation system •Operates equipment, including dump truck, skid loader, backhoe, tractor, mower, paint stripper, and chemical sprayer •Installs, maintains, and repairs fences; ensures fence is in compliance with codes and specifications •Oversees the work of community service workers as assigned •Maintains and repairs park buildings •Moves furniture; sets up tables and chairs •Installs, maintains, and repairs playground equipment •Trims shrubs, prunes trees, and weeds flower beds •Removes leaves; collects trash •Plants trees; installs landscaping •Pours concrete in the construction of sidewalks and pads •Performs other related duties as assigned Minimum Education and Experience: •Ability to read, write and perform basic mathematical calculations •Sufficient experience to understand the basic principles relevant to the major duties of the position, usually associated with the completion of an apprenticeship/internship or having had a similar position for one to two years •Possession of or ability to readily obtain a valid driver's license issued by the State of Oklahoma for the type of vehicle or equipment operat
