Waco is the 25th largest city in Texas and home to more than 130,000 residents. Waco is a home rule city with a council-manager form of government. The City Council is comprised of a Mayor and five City Council members. The City seeks a creative and energetic leader who can motivate staff to reach their highest potential and who will foster a culture of accountability throughout the organization to serve as its new Assistant City Manager. The selected candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Public Administration or a related field, and six (6) years of work experience managing public sector operations. Master’s Degree in Business or Public Administration is desirable. Candidate must possess a valid Texas driver’s license.
