Utilities Construction Inspector
Summary: Performs inspection of Utilities projects such as Taps, Water and Sewer lines, pump stations, water towers, tanks, filtration and reclamation plants, lift stations, drainage channels, box culverts, storm sewers, detention basins and right of way improvements to insure quality and compliance with plans and specifications.

Essential duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:
Education, Training and Experience Guidelines: High School Diploma or GED required AND a minimum of 2 years progressively responsible experience in maintenance, construction or inspection of Utilities type construction projects.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
License & certification requirements: Valid Texas Driver License is required, C Water Distribution License, Class III Wastewater collections license or must obtain within a reasonable time at the discretion of the Utilities Assistant Director, based on current licenses and courses taken.
