The City of Southlake is searching for a customer focused team player who is passionate about providing world class customer service to a world class community. The purpose of this position is to provide learn to swim and water safety programs at the Marq Southlake. This is accomplished by teaching learn to swim and water safety programs; interacting with citizens, volunteers, City officials, employees and the general public. Other duties will include providing support to the Recreation Division.

Pay: $13.00 per hour

Essential Functions:

• The Marq Southlake Operations: Teaches all learn to swim and water safety programs.
• Safety: Ensures the overall safety, health and welfare of all individuals participating in programming and using the recreation facilities and services of the City. Ensures the safety of subordinate staff and ensures all safety policies and procedures are followed.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Possession of, or ability to obtain, a valid Texas Driver's License.
• Possession of, or ability to obtain, American Red Cross CPR Certification.
• Possession of, or ability to obtain, American Red Cross First Aid and AED Certification.
• Possession of, or ability to obtain, American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification.
• Possession of, or ability to obtain, American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor Certification.
• Early morning, evening, weekend and holiday work required.
