Description | Under direction of the Assistant City Manager, the Emergency Management Coordinator develops and coordinates the City's Emergency Management Program. Coordinates assigned activities with other departments, divisions, outside agencies, and the general public.
DISTINGUISHING CHARACTERISTICS:
This position is primarily responsible for the development, implementation, monitoring and modification of emergency preparedness plans and associated products. This position has responsibility for enhancing and delivering public education program and performs a variety of technical tasks relative to assigned areas of responsibility.

Special Requirements: Ability to respond to emergency situations as required including hazardous and severe weather conditions within thirty (30) minutes. Must live within thirty minutes from Waxahachie, Texas. (Preferred) |
