Description | Under general supervision, performs customer service and clerical duties in support of the City Clerk's Office. Essential Job Functions: •Creates file systems for archived files and catalogs; retrieves files as requested. •Maintains and ensures accuracy of official records (minutes) of all proceedings. •Maintains fax and agenda logs. •Scans archive files including easements, deeds, agendas, resolutions, and ordinances. •Produces letters, memoranda, reports, payment authorizations and other types of correspondence. •Assists all departments with printing, binding and laminating services. •Files municipal records, contracts, deeds, easements, ordinances, resolutions, proclamations, and proofs of publication. •Updates tracking log of important documents. •Logs and maintains Open Records Requests. •Retrieves, sorts and delivers mail from the Post Office and operates the postage meter. •Logs in packages delivered to physical address and contacts addressees for delivery. •Orders and maintains office supplies for the City Clerk's Office. •Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Education and Experience: Requires a High School Diploma or GED equivalent, supplemented by one to two years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Possession of or ability to readily obtain a valid Driver's License issued by the State of Oklahoma for the type of vehicle or equipment operated. |
