Pay Rate: $11.50/hour

Applicants returning with 3-5 years of SPI consecutive experience will be paid a rate of $12.50/hour and those returning with 6+ years will be paid a rate of $13.50/hour.

Performs a variety of routine and complex work in the patrol of the designated beach area to ensure safety of beach visitors.  Responds to emergencies as required; both in the water and within the assigned patrol area.  Monitors all activities on the beach to enforce beach ordinances and maintain public safety.  Applicants must possess a high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.  Strong swimming skills are required along with a valid state driver’s license.
