Description Under general supervision, performs administrative, secretarial and marketing-related duties in support of the Economic Development Division. •Responds to and/or provides information to the media with regard to ongoing/upcoming projects of the Economic Development Division. •Greets and assists visitors, screens and forwards telephone calls and provides general department and department-project information. •Provides administrative support; answering phones, produces memoranda, letters and reports; maintains personnel and attendance records; sends correspondence; and maintains files. •Working with the Communications Division, produces content, publications and press releases relevant to departmental projects. •Crafts well-written promotional messages with an emphasis on writing for search engine optimization, online advertising and social media. •Manages department-specific social media platforms to maximize dissemination of departmental communications; posts activities, events, project updates, etc. •Performs keyword research and manipulates data in spreadsheet applications. •Photographs and videos departmental projects, operations and activities to include in the department's social media platforms. •Supports multiple division initiatives; acts as a key player in a variety of projects. •Researches, compiles, sorts, and calculates data from files and other sources to prepare statistical reports; processes information for submission of the Monthly Activity Report to the City Manager's Office. •Designs, creates, maintains, and updates a variety of forms for departmental use; schedules meetings and events and maintains calendar of appointments. •Takes, transcribes and distributes minutes of meetings. •Categorizes and maintains manual and computerized filing systems; creates tracking system and forms; enters data; cross-indexes and files documents. •Processes purchase orders and requisitions. •Assists in the maintenance of the annual division budget. •Processes and enters a variety of personnel actions. •Prepares and enters agenda items. •Maintains office supply inventory. •Performs other duties as assigned. Requires a High School Diploma or GED equivalent, supplemented by one to two years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Possession of or ability to readily obtain a valid Driver's License issued by the State of Oklahoma for the type of vehicle or equipment operated.
