Position Title:  Stormwater Management Specialist/Floodplain Manager

SUMMARY: ($ 27.00/hr. DOQ) Performs duties relating to the long range and day-to-day operation of the City’s Stormwater Management Plan and the National Pollution Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4). This position also provides development review in terms of applied stormwater/floodplain management practices, methods and standards by performing the following essential duties and responsibilities.

Education and Experience: Bachelor’s Degree (engineering, natural/physical science, construction management, etc.) and two (2) years of work experience involving engineering, environmental engineering, or construction curriculum. 

Licenses or Certifications: An Engineer Intern certification is preferable. Certified Floodplain Manager status is required within the first year of employment.
