Description | Assistant Golf Course Superintendent Summary: Under basic supervision, assists the Golf Course Superintendent with supervising staff and maintenance and repair projects at the Ratliff Ranch GolfLinks for the Parks and Recreation (P&R) Department. Essential duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:
Minimum Qualifications: Education, Training and Experience Guidelines: High School diploma or GED required; AND two year's golf course maintenance experience. Must be enrolled in the GCSAA or actively pursuing membership into the GCSAA within 3 years of hire date. Knowledge of:

License and certification requirements: A Texas State Driver's license is required. Pesticide Applicator license from the Texas Department of Agriculture is required or ability to obtain within (1) year.
Physical demands and working environment: Work is performed on the golf course and in an office environment; incumbent required to work with pesticides, herbicides, and other hazardous chemicals. City approved safety shoes must be worn.
