Professional skilled position that is responsible for the supervision and enforcement of the Industrial Pretreatment Program in accordance with Federal, State and local regulatory requirements. The position also includes oversight of programs related to pollution prevention, the Fats, Oils, and Grease Prevention Program, and the Cross Connection Control Program. Requires a High school diploma/GED plus college level courses in Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, or Environmental Science; or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Must possess a valid Texas Driver’s License, Class C. Prior Pretreatment, Wastewater, and Water Distribution systems experience is preferred but not required.

The salary is dependent on qualifications and experience. The City also provides pay for tenure up to $7,215 for ten years of service. City paid health and life insurance is provided for employee; the City requires 7% TMRS contribution by employees with a 2-1 city match; and other voluntary benefit plans are available.
