Weare Fire Rescue has a Firefighter/EMT/AEMT/Medic position available. The successful candidate responsibilities include, but are not limited to response to fire and medical emergencies, operating Department apparatus, performing fire and life safety inspections, inspection and maintenance of Department equipment.

The ideal candidate will be community oriented, motivated to succeed - both individually and as part of a team, and have a strong desire to participate in creating the future of Weare Fire Rescue.

Weare, NH is a town located just west of Concord and Manchester. The Fire Rescue Department provides fire protection and advanced life support Emergency Medical Services to its 8,900 residents. Operating from a modern station and utilizing state of the art equipment, the Department responded to approximately 850 incidents in 2020.

Qualifications: 

Minimum: Fire Fighter 1 with CPAT, National Registry EMT, AEMT, or Paramedic; a valid driver’s license; and high school diploma (or GED).
